Victor is a partner at Bargen Brown LLP. He continues to successfully represent his clients throughout Western Canada and Ontario. His primary practice is in Manitoba where Victor has appeared at Administrative Tribunals, all levels of court including the Manitoba Court of King's Bench, Manitoba Court of Appeal and Federal Court. 

 

Victor recognizes that some personal or legal situations demand a formal remedy in court. Prior to proceeding into difficult litigation, Victor works diligently to find creative solutions without the emotional and financial cost associated with a trial. A complex case sometimes requires the ability to "think outside the box” and that quality is well appreciated. His background as a former social worker in the Northwest Territories provides Victor with additional insight and a unique point of reference.

Victor fully participates in the community at large. He has been a member of various community clubs as a coach and board member. His commitment to fitness and training forms an important part of his nonlegal life. Successfully completing the 2018 "Escape Alcatraz Triathlon" in San Francisco represents the highwater mark for his athletic accomplishments. Victor is the former President of the venerable Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club.

 

Victor brings the same level of commitment to assisting his clients and insists a well-rounded lifestyle keeps him sharp and is a benefit to his practice of law. He has occasionally been "spotted" in local musical theatre  productions  as a performer.
