Louis was called to the bar in 2011. His practice is primarily in the area of family and domestic law including: divorce, separation, custody, maintenance, family property, adoptions, guardianship applications, child protection, interjurisdictional support orders, including suspensions and variations, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements.  Louis’ practice areas also include real estate as well as wills and estates.

Prior to entering the practice of law Louis was a teacher and instructor including instructing at Keewatin Community College, University College of The North and Brandon University. Louis has recently been invited to be an inductee into the University of Guelph Athletic Hall of Fame (2016); in 1986 he was awarded the J.P. Metrass trophy (best lineman in Canadian University football); Male Athlete of the Year University of Guelph 1986; one of two Canadians invited to play in the East West Shrine Bowl in Palo Alto California 1987 and played as an offensive guard for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1987.
